Dr M.N Raghavendra Rao is associated with Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology as a Principal Heading the college start from the Birth of RGIT.He was attached with People's Education Society (PESIT) as a Seniour Professor in Mechanical engineering , R V College of Engineering as a Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Center of Manufacturing Resaerch & Technology Utilization.

         He has Published more than 15 National & Internation Papers.he is also associated with various Professional bodies like Non Destructive Society of India & Indian Metullurgy Society

• Reviewer for Vishveshwariah Technological university (VTU) exams.
• Delivers lectures on Engineering Materials, Manufacturing Process etc at various colleges & institutes in Karnataks & at Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore.
