Application for Admissions
The Course shall be of four academics years duration and conducted in 8 semesters with each semester having a duration of 16 weeks. The candidate seeking admission in this college shall obtain the application form with prospectus on payment of prescribed fee and a duly filled in Appllication shall be submitted to the college along with the photocopies of all the Marks card & Relavent documents within the time stipulated by the college.Eligibility
The students who have taken Karnataka State Pre-University Board examination, CBSE/ISC examination with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as core subjects with English as a subject of study, Diploma holders in the appropriate branch of engineering granted by the Board of Technical Examination in Karnataka or equivalent, with 50% marks in their final year examination & Any other equivalent examination approved by the Visveswariah Technological University are eligible. Registration for admission opens from January every year, in all the regions at the national and international level.NRI/ Foreign Quota
The NRI / Foreign students shall produce the following certificates in addition to the regular certificates along with their application form.The additional certificates are Equivalent Certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, New Delhi, stating that the student has secured 50% aggregate marks in Physics Chemistry and Mathematics at 10+2 level and is eligible to take engineering courses in India & Valid passport with student visa for the period of study.
Certifactes Required for Admission
The candidates selected for admission shall submit the following original documents/certificates at the time of admission.
- Marks card of the qualifying examination
- Marks card of the 10th standard examination
- Transfer Certificate from the previous institution where the candidate studied last.
- Migration Certificate in respect of students who have not studied in Karnataka.
- No Objection Certificate from the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India in case of Forien Students.
- Eligibility Certificate issued by the university in case of Students from outside the state & other countries .
- Other documents as relavent for the Eligibility of admission.
College Fees
The candidate selected to the Course shall pay all the Prescribed fees of the college at the time of admission.the anual fees shall be payed to the college at the commencement of the respective academic year. The students shall obtain No-Due Certificate every year before appearing the examination.
Attendance & Internal Marks
The candidate has to attend not less than 85 % of classes in each subject to apper the university examination. There shall be three internal tests in each subject, the aggregate marks assesed in the internal examination are taken.
Examination & Results
The university Examinations are held at the end of each semister and thus there will be Two examinations in a Year. A candidate shall appear in both the examination in the year and only the sucessfull candidates are promoted to the next higher class. The candidates will get the benifit of carry over of four subjects only in a year for the promotion to the next higher class. The examinations are held both for Theory & Practical in each subject.the results are declared by the University after the examination , at the end of each semister.
